The raspy soul singer, Teddy Pendergrass, that caused many of our conceptions has passed yesterday due to a long battle with colon cancer. He was only 59. It’s a sad day (not to mention the madness going on with the earthquake in Haiti). All of the great talents that a lot of us grew up with and our parents grew up with are passing away steadily. Today’s musicians aren’t creating the same legacy of style, grace and class as the generation before us. That goes to show a sign of the times.
Let’s celebrate his amazing life!
