Spike Lee’s 1986 debut film, She’s Gotta Have It was gritty, raw, honest and super sexy. The film featured the ultra-independent and highly erotic character, Nola Darling, played by Tracy Camilla John (where are you?) who is carrying on a relationship with three different men. There is the hopeless romantic, the delusional uptown guy and the jobless around the way guy who all vie for Nola’s affection hoping to one day hold the top spot. Throughout the film it shows how Nola seemlessly juggling these three men but somewhere along the line the walls of control come crashing down and she realizes that she no longer holds the winning hand. The Sin City series seemed like a perfect companion for this sultry film and now that the weather is cold and we are all looking for our winter snuggle buddy, let this mix be the third person in the room. Enjoy
